He was the son of the late John and Mrs. Margaret Hill Moss. Besides his wife, Mrs. Sallie Drewry Moss of Norfolk, formerly of Capron, he is survived by two sisters, Mrs. Grandison Rogers of Buckingham Court House and Miss Applin Moss of Richmond; and three brothers, Isaac and John H. Moss, Jr., both of Buckingham Court House, and Peyton Moss of Richmond. Funeral services for Mr. Moss were held at the chapel of the H.D. Oliver funeral apartments in Norfolk on Sunday afternoon at 3:30 o’clock, with Rev. W.W. Malcolm, pastor of the Ocean View Presbyterian Church, and Rev. Jason L. MacMillan, D.D., pastor of the First Presbyterian Church, officiating. Interment was in Forest Lawn Cemetery. Active pallbearers were G.M. Rogers, St. Julian Marshall, C.H. Etheridge, Richard Wallace, Elmer Henderson, F. Asher Jenkins, J.P. Gulley, and J.D.H. Drewry.
