FRANCES CORA ANDREWS TAYLOR POTEET

   Mrs. Frances Cora Poteet, 66, a life-long resident of North Carolina and a 
resident of Tarboro, N.C., since 1927, died Sunday afternoon, July 31, in 
Raiford Memorial Hospital, Franklin, after a long illness.

   Mrs. Poteet was the wife of William Lindsay Poteet of Tarboro and daughter of 
the late Thomas Edwin and Hattie Weatherington Andrews of North Carolina. She 
was a member of the Calvary Episcopal Church of Tarboro.

   Besides her husband, she is survived by two sons, James Clayton Taylor of 
Franklin and Vernon Edwin Taylor of Rich Square, N.C.; four grandchildren, one 
brother Frank Andrew of -----, Kan.; and one sister, Mrs. Pearl Luper of 
Portsmouth.

   Funeral services were conducted at 2:30 p.m., Tuesday, August 2, at the 
Calvary Episcopal Church, Tarboro. Burial was in Greenwood Cemetery.
