PRICE, TEMPE, MRS. - Died at her residence in this place on the 20th instant, 
in the 54th year of her age. Nee, Miss Tempe Thomas, was born March 12, 1805, 
in Edgecombe County, North Carolina, and was married to Elijah Price, December 
11, 1821. She emigrated from North Carolina in 1830, to Sumpter County, 
Alabama, where she resided until her removal to San Augustine County, Texas, 
in 1842. (San Augustine's The Eastern Texan, Jan. 29, 1859) (Her name was 
Temperance Price. J. T.)
