   DEATH OF REV. JOHN F. SPEIGHT
   -- The REV. JOHN F. SPEIGHT, of Edgecombe County, died at his residence on 
Thursday last, after a few days illness of congestion of the lungs, aged about 
fifty years. His death will be deeply felt by his Church and his County. He 
was Chairman of the County Court in Edgecombe.
