Thurs. March 31, 1859  North Carolina Argus
   MR. REUBEN WHITEHEAD, overseer of DR. K. H. DICKEN, of Edgecombe County, 
was killed on Thursday last by his horse running away with him in a buggy. He 
was thrown out of his buggy, and was dragged about 250 yards, hung by the neck 
and his legs across the reins. He was aged about 25 years. MR. JOHN WORREL was 
in the buggy at the time and was slightly hurt. --Tarboro' Southerner
