Family members of Coffield King who are buried in the Tarboro Primitive 
Baptist Church which is located in Tarboro, North Carolina. Coffield King was 
the son of William C. King (abt. 1764-1818) who was the son of Michael King 
(abt. 1730-1805) who lived at one time or another in Chowan, Bertie, Tyrrell, 
and Martin counties. He died in Martin County in 1805. This Michael King was a 
great-grandson of the first of this King line to come to the 
Colony of Virginia (abt. 1646). This first Michael King had 5 sons. This 
Michael King (of Martin County) descended from son, William King.
