	Armstrong, Willie A. will, NC State Archives, Edgecombe Co. Wills, 
CR.037.801.1.  Recorded in Will Book (7 or F), page 253.  PROOF OF WILL for 
Willie A. Armstrong proved by oath of S.H. Cobb & W.H. Cobb, witnesses to 
said will, who said that they witnessed HER will, 31 Oct. 1908.  EXECUTORS 
OATH, by James Hales, 31 Oct. 1908.  EXECUTORS OATH by O.P. Cook, 31 Oct 
1908.  LETTERS TESTIMENTARY states that Oliver Cook and James Hales are 
executors, estate consists of real and personal property worth about $1000, 
Carrie Cook, Ida Blanch Hales & Robert Fussell are the parties entitled to 
said property, signed O.P. Cook, 31 Oct. 1908.  WILL- I Willie A. Armstrong 
of Edgecombe Co. “being of sound mind” Item- my executor shall give my body a 
decent burial; Item- to my beloved daughter Carrie Cook and her heirs of her 
body, ten acres of land additional to the lot already deeded to her, 
beginning at south west corner of Carrie Cook lot and then nearly south along 
the line of Willie A. (Crocker) to the end of my lane and then nearly east 
along my line to such distance as to make at right angles back to canal in 
White Swamp ten acres of land, together with all buildings; Item- to my 
beloved daughter, Ida Blanch Hales, the balance of the land I have lived on 
after the above will has been complied with, to her to own or sell as she may 
deem proper; Item- to Robert Fussell $100, to be paid $50 by Ida B. Hales and 
Carrie Cook $50, the land is to remain responsible to Robt. For same money 
until paid; Item- sons in law Oliver Cook and James Hales to be my lawful 
executors; signed W.A. Armstrong, 14 Dec. 1906, wit. S.H. Cobb, W.H. Cobb.
