Co. will book G, page 146; Wife ELONEY BAKER- Negroes John, Winny, and Mariah, $200, horses, cows, farm utensils, buggy, railroad stock, etc. Wife- lend Negroes Jackson, Drew, Ann, Lawrence for her lifetime, as well as beds, bureau, secretary, eight-day clock, two looking glasses. Wife- all the cleared land on the home tract, adj. the Reedy Branch. Son WILLIAM S. BAKER- Negroes Readdin and Bill, also the home tract of land containing 400 acres, stock in the Wilmington & R. RR Company and the Manchester R.R. Company. Son WILLIAM S. BAKER- land in Nash County containing 650 acres which I purchased of JOSIAH ELLINOR and Negroes Caesar, Harry, Mourning, Phebe, Betty, and Sylla, as well as various furniture now in the possession of my daughter POLLY PITT, all of this to be placed in trust for my daughter POLLY PITT for her support and free from the control of her husband, and at her death this property shall be conveyed to her children or grandchildren in place of their deceased parents, with exception of LEAH ARMSTRONG (widow of GABRIEL ARMSTRONG and the daughter of said POLLY PITT) and THOMAS PITT (son of said POLLY PITT), who shall have no further part of my estate. Son WILLIAM S. BAKER- stock in the Wilmington & R. Railroad Co. for the use of POLLY PITT, and at her death to convey same to her children or grandchildren, with the exception of LEAH ARMSTRONG and THOMAS PITT. Grandsons WILLIAM PITT, MOSES PITT, and JOHN PITT, JR.- one share of stock in the Wilmington & R. Railroad Co. Granddaughter LEAH ARMSTRONG - land in Edgecombe Co. adj. MRS. PARKER, and GRAY ARMSTRONG known as the Crossroads Place and containing 170 acres, also Negroes Cherry, Garry, and Nancy. Grandchildren GEORGE W. WALKER and VESTA WALKER- my WINNY WILLIAMS land in Edgecombe County containing 150 acres, Negroes Ester, Eliza, Lorzeno, and Wright. I appoint my wife ELONEY BAKER guardian to my grandchildren GEORGE AND VESTA WALKER. Granddaughter VESTA WALKER - bed. Grandsons JOHN BAKER and JESSE BAKER- Negro Ben and my RUFFIN land adj. SAMUEL P. JENKINS and containing 200 acres, and if either dies without issue the survivor will inherit, but if both die without issue, this property shall fall to their next of kin who shall be the issue of my body, with the exception of NAOMI ARMSTRONG (wife of BAKER AMRSTRONG) and her sister MARTHA ANN BAKER, for they shall not share in my estate.
