 Bond, Henry, will date 26 Jan 1761, proved Mar Ct 1761; In the name of 
God Amen...  I Henry Bond of Edgecombe County... Gent, being very sick 
and weak in body but of perfect mind and memory thanks be given unto 
god... first of all I give and recommend my sole in to the hands of god 
that gave it and for my body I recommend it to the earth to by buried 
in a Christian like and deasont manner... not doubting but at the 
general resurrection I shall receive the same again by the mighty power 
of god... as touching such worldly estate I give devise and dispose of 
the same in the following manner; Imprimis I reserve to my beloved wife 
Rosanar Bond the use of the plantation and land where on I now live and 
also all my Negroes and all my money and all my stock of all sorts and 
every other thing during her widowhood and no longer and afterwards it 
is my will and desire that all my aforesaid estate both real and 
personal shall be equally divided between my three brothers, eldest 
sons, to wit, my brother Lewis Bond, his eldest son to have one third 
part, my brother Hance Bond, who is dead, his eldest son to have the 
other third part and my brother, William Bond, his eldest son to have 
the other third part; I appoint my beloved wife, Rosanar Bond and my 
trusty friend, William Haywood to be my sole executors, signed Henry 
Bond, wit James Wombwell, Jr, Francis Ellinor, Gregory Stallians (X).
