Feb. Ct. 1825; ORDER TO LAY OFF years provisions to Nancy Boon, widow of Elias Boon, on the second Monday of Feb. 1825; YEARS PROVISIONS laid off for widow and “say seven children” on 9 March 1825, commissioners Jno. Dering, JP, Benj. Blount, George Gardner, Phil Bennett; PETITION to divide land of Elias Boon, by Britton Boon, Joseph I. Boon, Lemuel Tucker and Susan, his wife, formerly Susan Boon, Elias Hedgepath and Polena, his wife, formerly Polena Boon, Polemma Boon, and Sally Boon of full age and Eliza Boon, Benjamin Boon, Mary Boon, infants under the age of 21 years and petitioning by Brittan Boon, their guardian, stating that Elias Boon, their father departed this life in the year, seized and possessed of in fee of a tract of land containing 262 acres adjoining the lands of Francis Avent, Holman Gardner, John Derring, George Bodie and Nancy Harris and that on the death of said Elias, land descended to the petitioners, the only children of said Elias, dated 14 Sept. 1834; land was sold to Brittan Boon for $350; SUMMONS for the heirs of Elias Boon, dec’d. to appear in court. John Deans had recovered from James Avent, administrator of Elias Boon in the sum of $40.91 and interest from 9 July 1825. Apparently, the estate had been settled and money owed was to be collected from heirs; Joseph Boon, (Britian) Boon, Susan Boon, Polena Boon, Eliza Boon, Polemna Boon, Sally Boon, Benj. Boon, and Nancy Boon, heirs of Elias Boon. Sumons was issued on 29 March 1826. Note attached stated that summons had been served on all defendants except Jos. Boon and he could not be found but was a resident of Halifax. Co.
