Written: 1895

	Braswell, Mary, Edgecombe Co., will date 14 Dec 1888, date recorded 
1895, “Being of sound mind and discriminating memory”... Item- for the 
natural love and affection I have for my cousin R.B. Hyatt and as a reward 
for his dutifulness to me, I give him and his heirs my farm in Edgecombe Co., 
being the same left to me by my father, provided the said R.B. Hyatt should 
outlive me; if he should die before me, leaving lawful children, land is to 
go to the said children; also all my personal property; if H.B. Hyatt should 
die before I die, without leaving heirs, the real and personal property to go 
to the children of my sisters, Crissie Moore, Elizabeth Edwards, Penneth 
Proctor, and my brother, Asberry Braswell; Item- I appoint H.B. Hyatt 
executor without bond; signed Mary Braswell (X), wit. Dossey Battle, B.F.
