	Braswell, R.S. (Robert S.), 1865 estate file; Feb Ct. 1865, 
Martha Braswell appointed administrator.  R.S. owned tract of 81 ½   
acres valued at $8 per acre, adjoining the lands of Samuel H. (           
), A.L. Braswell, David W. Lancaster (possibly Daniel), Spencer Moore 
and others; other papers show land is adjoining Spencer Moore, Elisha 
Whitley, Jesse Lancaster and others;  his children were Sally and 
Fannie Braswell.  Edgecombe Co. Estates, NC State Archives
