Written: 1760

 Bunn, John, will date (3 May 1760), recorded June Ct 1760; In the name 
of God Amen, this the (third) of May (1760) I John Bunn of Edgecombe 
County ... being sick & weak of my body but of sound and perfect memory 
thanks be given to God... principally and first of all I give my soul 
to God that gave it and for my body I recommend to the earth to be 
buried at the discretion of my executor...item, I give and bequeath to 
my loving son David Bunn the land and plantation whereon I now live 
containing 200 acres also one cow & calf, one feather bed and 
furniture, one large iron pot, two sows & pigs, one large (chest), one 
rifle gun, two dishes and one basson and six plates; item, I give and 
bequeath to my loving son, John Bunn two Negroes, one a boy called 
(Balum) the other called (     ), one feather bed and furniture, two 
cows, one smooth gun, one small iron pot, one hand (     ),six plates, 
two sows & pigs; item, I give and bequeath the remainder of my estate 
to my loving daughter, Ann Bunn; I appoint my loving brothers in law, 
James Ricks and John Ricks executors of my Last Will and Testament, 
signed John Bunn, wit Edward Moore, John Barnes, William Johnston 
(mark).  Proved by the oath of Edward Moore, Esq, John Barnes & William
