Petition (to divide land) of William Williams and his wife, Caty, Mede Williford and Charity, his wife, Sileter Curl and Patsy Curl an infant by Redmond Curl, her guardian; states that Willis Curl departed this life in 1810 having made and published a will which was proved at Feb. Ct. 1811 in which he bequeathed to his wife, Sarah Curl during her widowhood the land & plantation whereon he lived containing 300 acres and at her death or marriage to his four daughters, to wit your petitioner, Caty, since married to Wm. Williams, Charity, since married to Mede Williford, and your petitioners Seleter Curl and Patsy Curl, petitioners state that Sarah, widow of Willis is dead and they request land to be divided among them, land is on Little Cokey Swamp adjoining the lands of Eaton Gay, Nicholas Pherelis, Isaac Ricks and others, petition not dated, commissioners appointed were Weeks Parker, Gray Armstrong, Moses Spicer, Isaac Ricks, Rob.
