Year’s provisions allotted Dec 3, 1815. Petition for dower, Nov. 1815, stating he died possessed of 400 acres adjoining Mrs. Williams, the heirs of Elijah Horn, dec’d and Willie Horn and that he left the following children as heirs: Polly Hart, Harriett Hart, Elizabeth Hart, Benjamin Hart and Sally Hart, all infants. Dower allotted Jan 4, 1816 consisting of 133 1/3 acres adjoining Spring Branch. Petition Aug 1823 by William H. Horn and Harriett, his wife for a division of land, stating the dec’d owned 300 acres of land and left the following heirs: Harriet, wife of W.H. Horn, Polly, wife of William Taylor, Elizabeth Hart, Benjamin Hart and Sally Hart, the last three being minors. Record shows a 1/3 share had descended to Sally Harrison, widow of dec’d. Petition Nov 1823 for a division of negroes by William H. Horn and wife, Harriett. Record indicates administration on the estate was granted to Spencer L. Hart, 1815.
