	Hill, Peoples file, 1846, Edgecombe Co., estate records, 
CR.037.508.59, petition of Nancy Hill against Thomas G. Hill, Asa Hill, 
(Tolitha) Hill, Green Hill, Fielding Hill, John Hill, (Mungry) Hill, 
Duffie Hill, Nathan Hill and Mark Hill, petitioner is widow of Peoples 
Hill late of Edgecombe Co. who died in 1846 intestate, leaving her 
wholly unprovided for and that Peoples Hill died seized and possessed 
of a tract of land adjoining the lands of Gray Armstrong, B. Hill, John 
Ward, and others containing 496 acres and that she is entitled to 
dower, the named defendants are the only heirs of said Peoples Hill and 
all are of full age except John, (Margy), Duffie, Nathan and Mark.
