Written: 1846

	Hill, Peoples, file, 1846, dower of Nancy Hill, the widow of 
Peoples Hill by order of Nov. 1846; beginning at a bunch of ashes in 
Tyan Cokey Swamp Gray Armstrong’s corner then along his line south 12 
east 190 poles to a black gum Armstrong’s corner then along another of 
his lines, north 89 west 25 poles to a hickory another of Armstrong’s 
corners then south 11 east (51) poles    to a dead pine then south 89 
east 15 poles along a branch to a (bay) then south 11 east 69 poles to 
a pine in Armstrong’s line then west 145 poles to a stake then north 
236 poles to a sweet gum in the swamp then down the various courses of 
said swamp to the beginning containing 233 acres including the dwelling 
house where the deceased normally dwelt before his death, 15 Jan. 1847, 
signed Whitmell Williams, Theophilus Thomas, Jno. Baker, Jesse Price, 
William Worsley, J.J. (              ), John Ward (X), C.W. Spicer, 
W.E. Spicer. B.W. Barnes, Lovet Long (X), Newsum Long (X).  Recorded in
