I Moses Knight of Edgecombe County and State of No. Carolina being thru abundant mercy and goodness of God tho weak in body yet of a sound and perfect unde restanding and memory do constitute this my Last Will and Testament and desire it may be received by all as such, Inprimus I lend my loving Wife CHARITY KNIGHT the youse of all my Estate during her Life, accept that part heareafter mentioned and given to my Children. Item I give to my son KINDRED KNIGHT three negroes by the names of Luke Dol and Silvoy to him and his Heirs forever also one feather bed and for furniture one Iron pot and xxx and one shot gun one sow and heifer. Item I give to my son ALLEN KNIGHT one hundred acres of land lying on the Wolfpit Branch it being the land I purchased of Robert Parker and also one half of a new Entrey Lying on the north side of Whiteoake Swamp one feather bed and firniture and also three negroes by the name of Ned Rose and Vilate to him and his heirs forever. Item. I give to my son JOHN CARTER KNIGHT the Plantation Whereon I now Life, with all the Remainder of my Land also five negroes by the names of Old Sip young Sip dinah anakey and Sambo also one feather bed and firnitures one Iron pot one shot gun and sword one case of Bottles to him and his heirs forever. Item I give to my daugher SARAH PACE one negroe girl named Hager to her and her heirs forever. Item I give to my daughter MARY KNIGHT one negro girl nam?d Tillis to her and her heirs forever, Item I give to my daughter PHERUBY KNIGHT one negro girl named Hanah to her and her Heirs forever, my will and desire is that my Daughters should Receive there negroes at the agoe of Eighteen years or at the day of mar- rage, my will is likewise that my son Kindred receive two negroes Sape and dol at the age of twenty one years and likewise my son Allen to Receive tow negroes Roue and Dorded at the age of twenty one years and the others at their mothers death , my will and desire is that my blacksmith tools and a pair of grey mill stones and xxxxx belonging thereto be sold and the money arising from the sale thereof to pay my just debts and I do constitute and appoint John Nicholson james Pace and my loving wife Charity Knight my hole and Sole Execute ors of this my Last Will and Testament, In Witness Whereof I have heareunto set my hand and seal this fourteenth day of June in the year of our Lord one thousand seven hundred and Eight one.
