	Permenter, Sarah of Edgefield County, SC, daughter of John 
Permenter and Sarah Permenter, deceased of the state and district 
aforesaid for divers good causes and reasons, me hereunto moving, do 
appoint my truly friend Amos Quinn, my lawful attorney to demand and 
receive all things, real or personal, in my name and for me due as the 
legatee of the estate of John Permenter in the state of North Carolina, 
Edgecombe County and to sell the real property, 27 Dec 1808, signed 
Sarah Permenter (X), wit Lazarus Gardner, James Quinn, proved by 
Lazarus Gardner.  NOTE THAT POWER OF ATTORNEY WAS IN NASH COUNTY 
RECORDS.  Apparently Sarah had some kind of property to be sold in Nash 
County.  Abstracted 2-15-04, CR.069.508.54.
