Written: 1760

 Pitman, Moses, will date 20 Mar 1759, proved Dec Ct 1760; In the name 
of God Amen, Moses Pitman of Edgecombe County ... being in (       ) in 
body and perfect sound since and memory thanks be to the Almighty God 
... I give and bequeath in the manner and form as follows, after all my 
worldly debts are paid I give and bequeath to my beloved wife Elizabeth 
Pitman her third part of my estate and the remainder to be equally 
divided between my children, James Pitman & Moses Pitman & Mary Pitman, 
I appoint my well beloved wife & (       Ross) my executors, signed 
Moses Pitman, wit (   Pitman), (Jno Pitman), (             ).  The will 
was in open court exhibited, the exrs therein named and proved by the 
(        ) of Joseph Pitman one of the people called (      ) and at 
the same time the exors was qualified and the will to be recorded.
