	Proctor, Joshua L will, date 13 Oct 1911, probate date 29 Jan (1929).  
This is to certify that this is the last will and testament of Joshua L. 
Proctor.  I give to my wife, Mary L. Proctor as long as she remains single, 
the home place as it now stands her life time and then the farm to be divided 
between all the heirs.  Share where the home is to be given to Samuel J. 
Proctor all the stock and farming implements to go to Samuel J. Proctor whith 
the provision that he take care of his mother and sister Bashey as long as 
they stay single.  Joshua L. Proctor, wit. J.W. Martin, Bellie L. Martin.  
Written on paper marked “County of Edgecombe, J.W. Martin, Supertintendent.  
County Home, County Roads.”  Entered for probate 29 Jul 1929.  Abstracted 8-
