	Proctor, Moses, Estate file, NC Archives, Edgecombe Co. Estates, 
CR.037.508.102.  ORDER TO LAY OFF DOWER, sheriff is to jury of 
commissioners to lay off to Elizabeth Proctor, her legal dower in the 
lands of her late husband, Moses Proctor died seized and possessed of 
consisting of 326 acres, bounded by Moses Coleman, Unity Hargrove, and 
Frederick Proctor, agreeable to the prayer of (possession), Feb 29, 
1796, signed (witness) Edward Hall, CC.
