Imprimis I give and bequeath to my son James Ricks the land and plantation whereon I now live with (250 or 950) acres also the land I purchased of George Goodson containing by estimation (700) acres with one half of the grist mill (he allowing (Joseph Henderson) his part of the said mill), also the use of my Negro fellow Jacob one year after my death and then to be equally divided between my three children, (James) & John Ricks and Sarah Ross; item, I give and bequeath to my son John Ricks the land and plantation whereon he now lives, also two other tracts of land ( ) joyning to the tract he now lives, the one 120 acres, the other 73 acres and one half of the grist mill, he allowing (Joseph Henderson) his part of the said grist mill; item, I give to my grandson, Isac Ricks, son of John Ricks 4 pds for schooling him and what remains of my estate at my death I give and bequeath to my son, James Ricks; appoint my sons James Ricks and John Ricks my whole and sole executors, signed Isac Ricks, wit Edward Moore (mark), James Ross (mark)(Wm Moore).
