May Ct. 1850, petition of Elisabeth Robbins, widow of Simon Robbins, vs Willie Robbins for dower, she is widow and relict of Simon Robbins who died in the winter of 1850 after making a will which was admitted to Feb. Ct. in 1850 and she disputed said will in manner required by law; said Simon died seized and possessed of a tract of land on the north side of Toisnot Swamp adjoining the lands of Augustine Farmer, John Batts, Arthur Robbins, and others supposed to contain 330 acres and another tract of land adjoining the lands of Augustine Farmer, William L. Farmer and others containing 101 ½ acres which said land was devised to the defendant, Willie Robbins, who is an infant and without guardian; petitioner says she is entitled to one third of the land in value and petitions to have same allotted to her, including the dwelling house, signed Robt.
