	Savage, Warren file, 1812, Edgecombe Co., estate records, 
CR.037.508.108, very large file, petition for wife’s dower (not dated) 
lists wife Frances, Warren died “Oct. last”, signed Fanny Savage.  
Petition for dower states that Warren died in 1814 and had 1400 acres 
at the time of his death (NOTE THAT FILE IS DATED 1812).  Francis 
Hatton is mentioned in this file.  Petition of Frances Savadge, Alston 
Savadge, stating that Warren Savadge died sometimes in the year of 1814 
leaving an estate of real and personal property and heirs, Warren 
Savadge, Lemuel Savadge, Elizabeth Savadge and petitioners (Elizabeth 
and Alston Savadge) as heirs at law, signed Elizabeth Savadge (X), 
Alston Savadge.  Court order a commission of James Downing, James 
Biggs, William Staton, Miles Bembry and Hardy Parker together with 
county surveyor to divide real estate and same commissioners or any 
three of them to divide the personal property.  NO LEGIBLE DATE.
