 Screws, William, will date 24 Dec 1760, proved Mar Inferior Ct 1761; 
In the name of God Amen the 24 day of Dec 1760 I William Screws of Edge. 
Co being very sick and weak in body but of perfect mind and memory thanks 
be given to God... give and recommend my soul unto the hands of God that 
gave it and for my body I recommend it to the earth to be buried in a 
Christian like manner at the discretion of my exors ... Imprimis I lend 
to Amy Screws my dearly beloved wife all my movable estate during her 
natural life then to be equally divided at her death among (all) my 
children that shall be living ... I give to my well beloved son John 
Screws 100 acres joyning to the land I now live on that I purchased of 
John Parrish.... I give to John Screws 100 acres on Griffins Swamp being 
part of a late survey containing 300 acres... Item I give unto my well 
beloved son Henry Screws 100 acres being the plantation whereon I now 
live and I also give to Henry Screws 150 acres on Griffin it being part 
of a late survey containing 300 acres; I give to my loving daughter Mary 
Screws one large chest; I appoint my loving wife Ame Screws & (Francis 
Spyve) executors of this my last will and testament, signed William 
Screws (X), wit (Joan Farguson), (Bennit Cried), (Thos Daniel), John 
Bynum (X).  Proved by oath of Thomas Daniel and executors nominated in
