Thomas Teagle Taylor

In the name of God Amen I Teagle Taylor of the County of Edgecombe and State
of North Carolina being of perfect mind and memery do this day make and 
ordain this my last Will and Testament in manner and form following to Will 

First I give and bequeath unto my daughter Rebecca Taylor one feather bed 
and furniture to her her heirs and ???? forever

Secondly - My Will and desire that all the residue of my Estate after the
death of myself and my wife Celia shall be equally divided among all my 
children that shall be then living at that time

Thirdly - I do hereby nominate appoint and ordain my son Stephen Taylor
whole and sole Executor to this my Last Will and Testement hereby revolking 
and disannulling all other Wills and Testements by me at anytime here before 
made declaring this and no other to be my Last Will and Testement in witness 
where of this said testator held her unto set his hand and said 1st day of 
March in the year of our Lord Eighteen hundred and twenty three

November Court 1826}  The within last Will and Testement Teagle Taylor and 
was witnessed in open Court for Probate and was proven by oath of Benjamin 
Landcaster one of the subcribing whitnesses thereto And Stephen Taylor the 
Executor therein named at the same time qualifies thereto - Orders that the 
same be certified and the Will recorded
