NC Will Book SS/AR 1758 In the name of God Amen. I Robert Taylor of Edgecombe Co. in the province of N. Carolina being sick and weak tho in perfect mind and memory do make and ordan this my Last Will and Testament in Manner and form following: First I give my sole to God who gave the same and my body to be buryed at the discretion of my executor. And as touching such worldly goods as God in this world has bestowed upon. I give and bequeith in manner and form following: Item: I give and bequeith to well beloved son Robert Taylor one shilling sterling to be paid by my exes. hereafter named. Item: I give and bequeith to my beloved son Edward Taylor one shilling sterling to be paid by my exers. hereafter named. Item: My Will and Desire is that all my Land be equally divided amongst the rest of my sons vez Joseph, William, Henry, Richard, Thomas, Billington, Nimrod and Hudson. After the decd of my now wife or during her widdowhood and if she continues a widow to hold it all her life then to them and their heirs forever. Item: My will and Desire is that all my personal estate I lend unto my loving wife to bring up my children during her widdowhood. And if she should not marry again then I lend it this during her life and after her decd to be equally divided amongst all my children vez Joseph, William, Henry, Richard, Thomas, Billington, Nimrod, Hudson, Judith, Rachel. Item: I give and bequeith to well beloved daughter Ann Huse one shilling sterling to be paid by my exes hereafter named..
