I Elijah Wall of Edgecombe County being (under some disorder) in my body though in perfect mind & memory and proper senses blessed by God for it... principally and first of all I recommend my soul into the hands of God that gave and my body to the earth to be buried in a Christian like manner... to my eldest son Elisha Wall I give and bequeath the remainder of plantation I now live on containing 90 acres it being in Edgecombe County joining James Walls land; to my second son, Hardy Wall I give & bequeath the plantation where Sarah Will did live containing 90 acres of land it being part of the same tract of land where Elisha Wall now lives on; to my well beloved wife I will & bequeath the ( ) part of my movable estate & I lend the rest thereof to her during the time of her life & widowhood; I likewise constitute make and ordain (James Knight) & (Abraham Rawls), signed Elijah Wall, wit Thomas Daniel, (John West, Jr), Charity Wall. NOTE: No probate information in will book. There seems to be a page missing as next page seems to start in the middle of a will for Henry Bond.
