Edgecombe County, NC - Will of Mary Wilkinson, 1845 ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ Wilkinson, Milly Will, 1845, 28 June 1840, proved Nov Ct 1845; In the name of God, Amen... being of sound mind and disposing memory.. Item 1- All the money due me should be collected and all my just debts paid; item 2- I give to my granddaughter, Lorry Ann Worsley all my negroes, namely Jack, Lewis and (Dras) and her increase, also I give said Lorry Ann all the residue of my estate of every kind including all the debts due or demands which I may be entitled to at my death; item 3- I nominate my friend, Jesse C. Knight and John Garrett my lawful executors; signed Milly Wilkinson (X), wit Benj. F. Knight, J.J. Garrett. Proved at Nov Ct 1845, proved by the oaths of Benjamin F. Knight and John J. Garrett, Jesse C. Knight and John Garrett renounced the executorship and Elza Taylor was appointed administrator and entered into bond in the sum of $400 with Newton Taylor and Isaac Robbins for surities.
