	Williford, Meed estate 1846; PETITION of Jonathan Joiner and 
wife, (Priscilla), Oran P. Daniel and wife, Mahala, John Proctor and 
wife, Lucinda and Matilda Williford, all of full age , Elijah L. 
Williford, Doctor S.T. Williford, Delha Williford, & Meedy B. 
Williford, infants by their guardian, William Moore & Caroline 
Williford, Andrew J. Williford, Mary Ann Williford & Timothy Wiliford, 
infants by their guardian William D. Petway vs William H. Hines, Blake 
Williford, (Josiah B. Williford), Samuel Moore and wife, Mary 
defendants; plaintiffs state that Meedy Williford of Nash Co died in 
the year 1841, having made his will which was admitted at Nov Ct 1846 
in Nash Co; at that time the defendants, William H. Hines and Blake 
were nominated and qualified as executors of said will; petitioner 
Penelope Joiner is the widow of deceased and filed her desent from said 
will; defendants other than said Penelope and (William H. Hines) are 
entitled to legacies and said Penelope is entitled to a distribution of 
the personal estate; that Granberry Vick, another legatee of the said 
testate hath died intestate in March 1848 without having received his 
legacy and that said Oran P. Daniel is his administrator; (Stephen E 
Jakway) married Elizabeth Williford, a daughter and legatee of the said 
testate; (plaintiffs ask court to require defendants to settle estate).
