Mid-Winter Musical Concert - A Successful Affair at the Salem Female College

Winston, Jan. 28 - The annual mid-winter musical concert by the Salem Female 
College was given last night and tonight, and as usual was a grand success. 
The young ladies were greeted with crowded and appreciative houses each night. 
It is conceded by all who attended that the programme which consisted of 
instrumental and vocal music and elecution selections was one of the most 
meritorious yet given by this famous college. Many North Carolina and Virginia 
girls took prominent parts in the concert.
