Identify slain Negro
Fayetteville (AP) -- A negro killed here Friday in a gun battle by Deputy 
Sheriff Frank Gray was identified today as Henry Davis, an escaped convict 
from state's prison. He was serving a sentence from Nash county for bouse-
breaking and carrying a concealed weapon.
