FORSYTH COUNTY, NC - OBITUARIES - James Campbell Ellis, 14 Mar 2003 ----¤¤¤¤---- Bristol Herald Courier Wednesday, March 19, 2003 James C. Ellis WINSTON-SALEM, N.C. -- James Campbell Ellis, 59, died Friday, March 14, 2003, in Forsyth Medial Center in Winston-Salem. He was born Aug. 24, 1943, in Smyth County, Va., to the late William Rudolph Ellis and Almeda Robbins. Mr. Ellis was preceded in death by a sister, Virginia Morrison; and a brother, Junior Ellis. Survivors: his wife, Emily Ellis, Winston-Salem; one daughter, Megan Ellis, Winston-Salem; two sons, Bobby and David Ellis, Winston-Salem; one stepson, Conan Bruce; five grandchildren; four sisters, Tiny Perrel, Frankie Goens and Geneva Robbins, all of Winston-Salem, and Mary Hart, Seven Mile Ford, Va.; and three brothers, Ted Ellis and Everette Ellis, Winston-Salem, N.C., and Robert Ellis, Rockville, Md. A memorial service was conducted at 4 p.m. Sunday, March 18, 2003, at Hayworth & Miller Silas Creek Chapel in Winston-Salem, N.C., with Rev. David Bruce officiating. The family received friends after the service at 3812 Viennadozier Road, Profftown, N.C., at the home of Geneva Robbins. Flowers will not be accepted.
