BEULAH MAE CHEEK HEAD

COURTLAND – Beulah Cheek Head, 84, died Nov. 9. 2007.
  Mrs. Head was born in Winston-Salem, N.C., and retired from Southampton 
Memorial Hospital Housekeeping Department.
  Survivors include her husband of 38 years, Roy Head; a daughter, Cathy 
Hutchins of Franklin; two sons, James Hutchins of Winston-Salem, N.C. and 
Ellis Hutchins of King. N.C.; two sisters, Betty Hinson of Trap Hill, N.C. 
and Bonnie Hinson of Winston-Salem, N.C.; two brothers, John Cheek of 
Franklin and Ray Cheek of Winston-Salem, N.C.; 12 grandchildren and 15 
great-grandchildren.
  She was predeceased by her parents, David Charles and Florence Sparks 
Cheek; two sons, Edward A. Hutchins and Tommy Hutchins; and her beloved Pop-
Eye.
  A graveside service was conducted Monday in Southampton Memorial Park.
  The family suggest memorials may be made to a favorite charity.
  Wright Funeral Home, Franklin, is assisting the family. Condolences may be
