Winston-Salem, Oct. 14 - Mrs. W.P. Reid, wife of the Southern Railway agent 
here, died at her home this morning at 1 o'clock, after an illness lasting for 
more than a year. The body will be taken to Turbeville, Va., near South 
Boston, tomorrow for burial. Mrs. Reid was a member of the First Presbyterian 
Church and was held in high esteem by scores of warm friends. Surviving 
besides the husband are, her mother, two brothers, Mr. L.P. Wilkins of Sanford 
and Mr. W.W. Wilkins of Turbeville, Va., and one sister, Mrs. J.G. Bruce of 
Culpeper, Va.
