TUDOR Funeral services for Mrs. George(Carter)Tudor, 68, of 1104 West Fourth Street will be held at 2p.m. at Vogler's Chapel. Bishop J. K. Pfohl will be in charge. Burial will be in Salem Cemetery. Pallbearers will be W. Bryan Booe, B.T. Woodall, Wade B. Tigret. L.M. Martin, William W. Olive and Charles T. Joyce. Mrs. Tudor died at 7:02 a.m. yesterday. She had been in ill health for two years, seriously ill for two months. Born March 10, 1882, at Clemmons, she was the daughter of Augustine and Alice Bratton Hanes. Her early life was spent there. She had lived in Winston-Salem for the past 60 years. Mrs. Tudor was a member of First Baptist Church. She was married to George C. Tudor, general agent for the Mutual Benefit Life Insurance Company , here for many years. He died August 2, 1934. Surviving are one son, W.D. Tudor of Enid, Oklahoma;one daughter, Mrs. J.N. Brewer of Winston-Salem;three grandchildren(Michael J. Brewer, Robert Lee Tudor, and Bynum E. Tudor Jr. all of Winston-Salem); and one brother, Charlie (Ephriam) Hanes of Clemmons.
