Mr. Wimmer was awakened about four o'clock Sunday morning by her struggles for breath, and a physician was immediately summoned, but death occurred before he arrived. The announcement of her death was a shock to her many friends and has occasioned deep grief to her many acquaintances. Mrs. Wimmer, who was 58 years of age, was the daughter of the late Albert and Carolina Markland Walker. She was born near Clemmons on October 11, 1866, and was married to Mr. Wimmer on June 4, 1899. Much of her life was spent in Winston-Salem and as a member of the Home Moravian church she manifested an active interest in matters of religious concern, and was an untiring worker.
