Witnesseth that whereas for and in Consideration of the sum of Seventy-five dollars in hand paid by the said Mary & Mildred Reaves before the signing and delivery of these presents the Rect. whereof is hereby acknowledged The said Jason Goswick doth hereby Bargain Sell, deliver unto the said Mary & Mildred Reaves their heirs and assigns forever A certain Tract of land lying in the County of Franklin aforesaid adjoining the lands of Saml. Harris & others Said to be One hundred & twenty acres more or less hereby warranting and defending all the Right & Title that I the said Jason hold by Right of a purchase under a Trust made by William Reaves and no other (Making this special & particular reservation that is to say the said Mary Reaves is to enjoy and prossess the said land & premises during her natural life only - But to remain in fee simple to the said Mildred Reaves her heirs & assigns forever In Witness whereof I have hereunto set my hand & seal this the day & date first above written. his Attest Jason X Goswick (Seal) D. Additional Comments: This had been the land of Richard Reaves according to the Deed of Trust by William Reaves recorded in Deed Book 27 at page 487. Mildred Reaves and Mary Reeves, widow of Richard Reaves, appear to be buying back that land.
