15th Day of March 1870 proved before the undersigned Judge of Probate for said 
County by the oath and examination of W A Brame the subscribing witness that 
therefore let the said Lien together with this certificate be registered.

The above Lien together with the certificate of Probate was this 15th day of 
March 1870 duly registered.

This indenture made this 5th day of March 1879 between Ambrose Upchurch, 
Martha Alford and Ursuly (Urguly) Upchurch of the first part and William 
Privitt of the second part all of the county of Franklin and State of North 
Carolina Witnesseth that the said Ambrose Upchurch, Martha Alford, and Urguly 
Upchurch for and in consideration  of the natural love and affection which we 
have with the said Wm Privett has given granted aliened released and confirmed 
unto the said Wm Privett his heirs and apigns all of our interes in sixty 
acres of land which is 25 5/7 acres adjoining the lands of Frances Pearce Wm 
Privett and others to have and to hold the said lands and all the 
appertinances thereof to him the said Wm Privett his heirs and apigns forever, 
and for the better surety of the title we hereby forever warrant and defend 
the sum to the said Wm Privett his heirs and assigns forever.
