Louisburg - John Baker Arnold,78, of 143 Burnette Rd., died January 13, 2001.

He was born in Franklin Co. on September 19, 1922 and was the son of the late 
Ellis V Arnold and Bertha Baker. 

Funeral services were held at Bethlehem Baptist Church and entombment in 
Gethsemane Memorial Gardens in Zebulon.

Surving are his wife of 59 years, Adele Barnette Arnold; daughter, Dale Arnold 
Strickland and husband, Jim of Durham, a son John Ted Arnold and wife, Brenda 
B. of Louisburg; two grandchildren, Lisa A Tuck and husband, Jim of Raleigh, 
Audrey A Preddy and husband, Rob of Louisburg; one brother, Thomas Coleman 
Arnold and wife, Pauline R of Zebulon.
