Georgie Ray Baker, 68 of Louisburg, died 17 Apr 2010. Ray was born 28 Mar 1942 
in Franklin County to Rosa Lee Baker and the late Georgie Baker (15 May 1912 - 
26 Nov 1966). He was preceded in death by his wife, Dianne Gay Moore (30 May 
1945 - 28 Mar 2009). They married 26 Jul 1966.

He is survived by his daughters, Pam Joyner and husband, Joey, of Castalia, and 
Rhonda Myers of Louisburg; his mother, Rosa Lee Baker of Youngsville; his 
sisters, Marguerite Currin of Louisburg and Barbara Richards of Youngsville; 
his brothers, Bobby Baker of Rolesville, Wayne Baker of Louisburg, and James 
Baker of Youngsville; and four grandssons, Daniel, William, Tyler and Zachary.

A funeral service was held 20 Apr 2010 at New Hope Worship Center, 7428 Pearces 
Rd., Louisburg. Burial followed at Bethlehem Baptist Church Cemetery, 1581 
Bethlehem Church Rd., Youngsville.
