The death of Mrs. Prudence Burton of Granville was published in our last since 
which the following tribute to her memory has been received: "As a wife she 
was tender and affectionate; as a friend she was warm and sincere; as a 
neighbor affable and benevolent; as a mistress she was humane and just. She 
spent many of her latter moments in reflection on a Future State, and gave 
great evidences of possessing a lively hope of receiving those heavenly 
blessings and rewards which are the result of a well spent life on earth."
