Wendell - George Washington Denton, 74, of 10328 Poole Rd., died March 7, 2007  
at Johnston Memorial Hospital. He was born February 22, 1933 in Franklin Co., 
son of the late Henry K and Madie Medlin Denton.

Funeral was held at Central Baptist and burial was in the church cemetery. He 
is survived by his wife, Kathleen Earp Denton; son and daughter-in-law, Tony 
and Angie Denton of Farmville; sisters, Pauline Jeans, Kathleen Pippen, Barbara 
Ann Wright, and Evelyn Driver all of Zebulon.

Brothers Dale and Wilson Denton and sister, Mavis Denton preceded him in death.
