Mayon Wade Duke, 81, of 4300 Zebulon Road, died 11 Dec 2008 at Wake Med. Mayon 
was born in Wake County on 9 Jul 1927 to Millard L Duke (18 Dec 1909 - 2 Oct 
1987) and Zola Lillian Hopkins (3 Mar 1907 - 22 Jan 1979). He married Ellie 
Gray Raybon on 2 Nov 1948. Mayon was a farmer and was a member of White Stone 
Masonic Lodge #155 for 50 years. 

Funeral services were held at Harold Poole Funeral Service Chapel and he was 
buried at Hopkins Chapel Baptist Church Cemetery with Masonic Rites.

Surviving: son, Barry W Duke (Becky) of Lincolnton
     daughters, Dianne Duke Hauser (Phillip) of Tobaccoville
                Donna Duke Bailey (Clyde) of Wake Forest
granddaughters, Victoria Hauser
                Allison Hauser
                Jodi Bailey Pearson (John)
                Jamie Bailey
                Marcia Duke

In addition to his parents, Mayon was preceded in death by two brothers:
                George Everett Duke (8 Oct 1929 - 6 Dec 1929)
                Wayne Lawrence Duke (17 Sep 1933 - 13 May 1990)
