Bright Funeral Home Sep 2007
Doris Annette Richards Gay, 81, died 25 Sep 2007 at Transitional Health 
Services Nursing Center in Kannapolis, North Carolina. Doris was a member of 
Rolesville Baptist Church.

She was born 21 Sep 1926 in Wake County, daughter of the late Helen Johnson (28 
Nov 1904 - 7 Jun 1998) and Wesley Eunice Richards (11 Mar 1906 - 1 Dec 1982). 
She was preceded in death by her brother, Wesley Albert Richards (15 Oct 1931 - 
13 Feb 1985).

Surviving: husband of 57 years, Braxton Gay;
           daughter, Elaine Gay Carroll (Greg);
           son, David Gay (Angie) all of Charlotte
           grandchildren, Morgan and Tate Carroll;
           Ryan and Justin Gay.     

Funeral services were held 29 Sep 2007 in the Chapel of Bright Funeral Home and 
she was buried in the church cemetery.
