Eleanor Pearce Holding, died 2 Mar 2010 at her home. She was born in Wake 
County, the daughter of the late Lillie Winston and Montezuma Pearce. She was 
preceded in death by her husband, Herbert Spencer Holding, Jr. She retired from 
the Wake County Public School system where she was a teacher. She was a member 
of Rolesville Baptist Church where she taught Sunday School for many years. 

Surviving: son, Herbert Spencer Holding III (Ellen) of Rolesville;
           daughters, Barbara Honeycutt (Jay) of Wilmington, Debra H Perkinson
           (Bill) of Raleigh, Donna Honeycutt (Randy) of Raleigh, Brenda H 
           O'Hara (Jeff) of Cary, and Ada H Fisher of Wake Forest;
           grandchildren, Jonathan Perkinson, Phillip Perkinson, Robyn Fisher,
           Victoria Fisher, H Spencer Holding IV, Alex O'Hara, Ashton O'Hara,
           and Carson O'Hara.

A memorial service was held 7 Mar 2010 at Rolesville Baptist Church.
