Strickland Funeral Home February 2008
Harvey Edward McPhail, 77, of 2320 Pilot Riley Rd., died 12 Feb 2008. He was 
born 18 May 1930 in Cumberland County. He was the son of the late Edward 
McPhail and Tabitha Thornton. He served in the US Army during the Korean 
Conflict, then he worked for Atlantic Coastline, and CSX Railroad for over 35 
years.

He was a loving husband who was devoted to his wife as she was to him. He had a 
quiet, giving grace for which he never needed recognition. He had a warm smile, 
a gentle spirit and a penchant for conversation.

Graveside service was held at Bethlehem Bapstist Church.

Surviving: Wife of 52 years, Lyndell Pearce McPhail of the home.
