Rennie Gay Murray, 82, of 306 North Gaylee Lake Road, died September 10, 2005 
at Rex Healthcare. She was born September 17, 1922 in Franklin Co., to the late 
Floyd Gay and Lutisha Driver Gay.

The funeral was held at Hephzibah Baptist Church in Wendell and burial was at 
Gethsemane Memorial Gardens in Zebulon.

Surviving: daughters, Joanne M Keene, and husband, Jack of Zebulon; Billie M 
Alford and husband, Billy of Garner; Brenda M Pierce, and friend Kerry Watt of 
Louisburg; sons, Tony G Murray and wife, Janie of Raleigh, and Vic H Murray and 
wife, Billie of Zebulon; brother, Wilton Gay of Zebulon; sister, Sallie G 
Carter of Knightdale.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Charlie 
Murray in 1975, two infant children, and brothers Jim, Jack, Harper, and Evans.
