He owned and operated Garner Shell Service Station as long as his health permitted. He was a native of Franklin County, he was a member of Fellowship Baptist Church and he was a veteran of World War II. He was preceded in death by this father: two brothers: Wallace Hayes Pearce (7 Aug 1915- 27 Nov 1937) Malcolm Furna Pearce (22 Aug 1919 - 24 Jun 1959) He is survived by his wife: Lucille Williford Page step-daughter: Marcia Page step-son: Rickey Page mother: Mattie Florence May Pearce two sisters: Vera Mae Pearce and Mattie Ruth Pearce Love brother: Charles Herman "Smiley" Pearce and wife Ethel Medlin Pearce sister-in-law: Larsetine Wood Pearce Funeral service was held at Fellowship Baptist Church by Rev Joe Zimmerman and burial was at Montlawn Memorial Park.
